Frequently Asked Questions
What is your editing style?
I edit on the "bold + bright" style. My editing style is showcased on my pages, website, and portfolio. I aim for a mix of candid + posed shots for every session. I'd be happy to mix in any generic pose ideas you would like but cannot copy another photographer's work. All of my sessions are unique and I keep it casual + fun so everyone feels 100% comfortable! I aim for a more laid-back approach to my photography which results in us having a ton of fun and capturing beautiful memories together.
I include slight retouching on all images (removal of stray hairs, pieces of lint, etc.). Any extensive editing requests will be subject to an additional fee and subject to approval based on my capability.
Please note, I do not offer body modification edits outside of mild skin retouching.
Do you offer mini sessions?
Mini sessions are offered occasionally and are usually themed or seasonal. These sessions are shorter, include 10 images max and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Follow me on social media for announcements and updates so you don’t miss out!
What if I don't need the full hour?
All sessions are scheduled for up to one (1) hour (except for my Extended Senior Package, which includes up to two hours). This provides ample time to capture quality images without feeling rushed, while keeping the experience relaxed. The extra time allows flexibility for uncooperative subjects, wardrobe adjustments, or unforeseen delays, ensuring the best images are captured. Not all sessions will require the full hour - the actual session length may be shorter depending on cooperation and flow along with the client's preference.
When will I receive my images?
You will receive your edited images via a digital gallery within 10 business days of your session.
What is the difference between the Family and Extended Family Packages?
Family, Couples, & Individuals Package:
This package is designed for immediate families (same household), couples, or individuals only.
Extended Family Session Package:
If you’d like to include grandparents, significant others, or extended relatives, please book the Extended Family Session. These sessions include additional group shots (grandparents with kids, cousins, siblings, in-laws, etc.) which require more posing, photographing, and editing time.
Both packages offer the same session length and number of delivered images; the difference is the additional work & editing involved with more subjects, which is reflected in the price.

When planning your outfits, don’t be afraid to have fun and show your personality! Bold colors, interesting textures, and playful patterns can really make your photos pop, while neutrals and muted tones create a timeless, elegant look. If you’re unsure, pick three coordinating colors and distribute them thoughtfully across your outfits - 60% dominant, 30% secondary, and 10% as pops of color.
For seniors, bring a mix: something fancy, something fun, and one outfit that nods to your high school experience. Layering, accessories, and even small props can add interest and dimension to your photos.
A quick note on patterns: avoid very small stripes or tight checks, as these can create a weird wavy effect in photos called moiré. Larger patterns, solids, and textures will photograph beautifully and keep the focus on you.
Above all, wear what makes you feel confident and comfortable - when you feel good, it shows in every shot!
